The story
Orlando Pirates and adidas have blessed their football/fashion-loving fans with some unreal drip, and last Saturday's Nedbank Cup final in Durban was no different.
The Buccaneers' pre-match drip for their Soweto derby loss saw the players rocking a vibrant collection designed by adidas and famous English station, NTS Radio.
As mentioned on adidas' website, this special collection celebrates the links between music and the beautiful game.
The tops and hoodies worn by the ballers blend 2010s football style with South Africa's amapiano influences to represent the true Pirates sound.
The capsule collection not only stands out for its predominant blue colours with a touch of neon green and orange, but also for the sonic wave-inspired print, the stripped-down team crest, NTS logo and stylised 'Pirates' graphic.
The collection, with pieces valued between R1,899 and R2,299, includes a pre-game jersey, matching jogging bottoms, a zip-up jacket and a hoodie.
