The story

The Buccaneers squad headed to the Orlando Children's Home to spread some joy alongside global fast food franchise, MacDonalds.

They players interacted with the children by playing a number of games. Thalente Mbatha and Patrick Maswanganyi were seen shooting some hoops with them, while other ballers like Kabelo Dlamini and club captain, Innocent Maela made use of the jumping castle.

Boys and girls at the children's home were put through their paces with the ballers conducting a clinic — with the children doing basic exercises which tested their developing football skills.

Happy Meals and t-shirts were handed out to the children, with a host of food parcels also being donated by the Sea Robbers.

"Coming here is an honour for us because we get to meet people in different environments and [do] things that we're not used to. The kids, I can't say they are disadvantaged, but they don't have families so it touched us a lot. Even where we [as players] come from, there are children that need this kind of facility. We, in various communities need to take care of these young kids and give them hope that there's still life out there," reflected Mbatha, who added:

"I enjoy the love they're giving us back, they're smiling. Even though it's a home, you wouldn't tell. It something that we should work on everywhere, not only in Orlando."
