The story

Ezimnyama Ngenkani have gotten their transfer window activity off to a bang after announcing their seven new signings last week, in an exciting week that also saw the club launch their new kits for the 2025/26 season and Jose Riveiro’s replacement, Abdeslam Ouaddou.

The club's newbies, Yanela Mbuthuma, Nkosikhona Ndaba, Masindi Nemtajela, Tshepang Moremi, Sinoxolo Kwayiba, Tshepo Mashiloane, Sihle Nduli and Sipho Mbule were taken on an induction tour that aimed to connect them with the club's rich and storied history.

As mentioned in an article shared on Pirates' website, the players' induction day started at their training base at the Rand Stadium, where they got a taste of what life will be like as a Buccaneer.

The players' induction day tour took them to Orlando East (4503 Khunou Street) — the home of one of the club's founding members, Bethuel Mokgosinyane.

The players then made their way to the Zodwa Khoza Foundation, where they spent time with learners and were addressed by club legend and foundation ambassador Bashin Mahlangu, who shared words of wisdom about what it means to represent the Sea Robbers.

The induction also included a tour of the Orlando Stadium, with the day being wrapped up with a lunch at the Protea Hotel, where club legends, including Tebogo Moloi, Edward Motale, and former captains Lucky Lekgwathi, Happy Jele, and Innocent Maela, officially welcomed the new players into the club.
