Orlando Pirates and Suzuki South Africa officially confirmed their new partnership on Thursday, seeing one of Mzansi's top-selling car brands become the vehicle partner of the Buccaneers.
This partnership, which makes Suzuki the new jersey sleeve sponsor for Pirates, is reportedly a two-year deal and sees the club being provided with a selection of Suzuki's most popular vehicles.
In unveiling the partnership between the two brands, Suzuki shared a campaign video featuring Pirates stars driving the Suzuki Grand Vitara, Suzuki Jimny (five-door) and the Suzuki Swift.
The Suzuki Jimny five-door is an extended version of the popular three-door Jimny SUV, and is valued from R434,900 to R484,900 across its three specs.
The ever-popular entry-level ride, the Suzuki Swift, ranges from R224,900 to R265,900 and is well-liked for its sleek appearance and 1.2-litre fuel-efficient engine, which offers a good balance of power and fuel economy, as per Suzuki.
The club also received a personalised Suzuki Grand Vitara, which is a compact SUV, with starting prices ranging from approximately R358,900 to R542,900. It’s available in multiple trim levels, featuring both manual and automatic transmissions, as well as a mild hybrid option.
