The story
Cyprus-based Bafana Bafana star Mihlali Mayambela owns one hell of a sneaker collection, an elite rotation that's fit for any high calibre baller.
Mayambela may have missed out on selection in Hugo Broos' 23-man squad to face Nigeria and Zimbabwe in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers on the 7th and 11th of June, but judging by his social media activity, it appears that the situation isn't getting to him too much.
The baller recently shared an Instagram photo dump of him in Europe and back home in South Africa, seemingly the Mother City where linked up with Keagan Buchanan and enjoyed a gym session with Lyle Foster.
The first sneakers seen on the photo dump are the LV Skate Sneaker Marine White kicks, which have a retail price of R25 380 according to Stock X.
The series of images shared by Mayambela sees him not-so-subtly flex his expensive pairs of shoes, including a pair of Nike X Off-White Air Force 1, which are valued anywhere between R30 000 to R60 000 on Farfetch, depending on the design and colourway.

"Maya" can also be seen rocking a pair of the unique Maison Mihara Yasuhiro Hank low-top sneakers, priced at around R7 800 on Farfetch.
In terms of his other premium sneakers, Mayambela owns a pair of one of the more eye-catching Yeezy sneakers — the adidas Yeezy 700 V3 "Kyanite" sneakers, priced at R6 999 on Court Order.
He's also been seen rocking the grey Dior B30 low-top sneaker, a sneaker that exceeds the R20 000 price mark and currently costs just over R22k on Dior's website.
