The story

Global sports brand PUMA and Manchester City proudly introduce the Definitely City kit for the 24/25 season, co-designed by iconic rock musician and lifelong Man City supporter, Noel Gallagher (1/2 of English indie rock band, Oasis).

In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Oasis' seminal album "Definitely Maybe", this limited-edition kit draws inspiration from the album's defining cover art.

Fans will only get to witness this stunner when it's featured in select UEFA Champions League fixtures this season.

This unique kit embodies the spirit of a club poised to shine on Europe's grandest stages. It features a striking aesthetic reminiscent of "Definitely Maybe" tape, honouring both the band and Manchester itself.

The jersey boasts a light straw base with bold blue side panels and sleeves, accented by subtle poppy pink detailing. Intricate marine blue wave patterns, inspired by the album cover, add a unique touch to this exclusive release.

The campaign was shot in a living room designed to mirror the "Definitely Maybe" album cover, featuring Manchester City players Kyle Walker, Jess Park, Mateo Kovacic, and Ederson, along with Pep Guardiola and Noel Gallagher.

Noel Gallagher commented on his role in designing the kit, noting, "I've been a City fan long before I got into music, and 'Definitely Maybe' was a pivotal moment for us.

"When PUMA approached me about designing this kit, I was on board instantly. It mirrors the album's color palette and looks fantastic. Seeing City players in it makes me proud."

Marco Mueller, PUMA's Senior Head of Product Line Management Teamsport Apparel, added:

"The 24/25 Definitely City kit is more than just sportswear; it's a tribute to Manchester City's evolution and a nod to a cultural touchstone that resonates globally. We've combined advanced technology with a design that celebrates both the club's history and the legacy of 'Definitely Maybe.'"

The Definitely City kit will make its debut on 18 September at the Etihad Stadium in their UEFA Champions League clash against Italian champions, Inter Milan and will be worn in select European away fixtures throughout the 24/25 season.

It will be available from PUMA retail stores starting 15 October, priced at R1,399.
