The story
PUMA has teamed up with acclaimed New York-based creative studio KidSuper to design a bold and artistic jersey and collection for Mamelodi Sundowns' 2025 FIFA Club World Cup campaign.
While the jersey features the club's iconic bright yellow as its base, the design itself is anything but conventional.
The standout element is a vivid, abstract landscape graphic displayed prominently on the front, featuring a radiant sun and expressive watercolour paint strokes in warm oranges, yellows, and touches of green and blue near the bottom.
This eye-catching artwork continues around to the lower back, giving the jersey a dynamic and distinctive look.
Sundowns' PUMA x KIDSUPER collection is a seamless blend of football, fashion, and art. It brings club-inspired designs to the pitch and offers a fresh artistic outlook on the beautiful game.
This extraordinary collaboration with Colm Dilane's KidSuper and PUMA also features fresh kits and lifestyle apparel for Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund, Al-Hilal, FC Salzburg, Palmeiras, and Monterrey.
"I've always wanted to merge the worlds of art and football, and with PUMA, we're doing just that. This collection is about more than just the game. It's about expressing yourself, taking risks, and standing out.
"Whether on the pitch or off, football is an art form, and this collection shows that," said fashion designer Colm Dillane aka KidSuper.
This collection takes football kits to the next level, transforming the jerseys of PUMA clubs that are participating in the global club showpiece.
To match the Tshwane evening sky, Sundowns' Home kit aims to reflect the club's signature style. The kit captures the rhythm, energy, and joy of Sundowns' football, known famously as "shoeshine and piano."
Masandawana's PUMA x KidSuper collection is available from Tuesday, 10 June at PUMA.com, as well as selected PUMA.com, Studio 88, Totalsports, Sportsmans Warehouse, JD Sports and Shelflife retail stores.
