One of Cape Town City's prodigal sons, Luphumlo Sifumba, shared a heartwarming farewell message to the Western Cape outfit after completing a loan move to Europe.

The story
After Luphumlo "Kaka" Sifumba completed a season-long loan, Portuguese second-division side FC Vizela, on a one-year loan deal with an option to purchase, following successful talks with Cape Town City FC.
Sifumba reportedly impressed during his trial with Vizela, scoring twice in a friendly match, which was likely to capture the interest of the club's management.
His trial with Vizela came after a similar stint with Armenian top-flight club FC Van. The 19-year-old midfielder's development had seemingly stalled due to limited playing time.
After winning the DStv Diski Challenge Player of the Season award for the 2022/23 season, he advanced to the Cape Town City senior squad but struggled to secure regular appearances under coach Eric Tinkler, making just 12 appearances across all competitions last season.
"Firstly I want to thank the Chairman of the Club, Mr. Comitis. Thank you for the opportunity, support and your belief in my abilities. To the past and present management team, thank you for your help and support. I've learnt so much doing my time here," said the youngster, who can through the ranks at the Citizens.
