As per ESPN, the match was played in a specially constructed pitch built in the plane that flew in up-and-down routes that reproduces the effect of zero gravity.

Figo and his teammates are now Guinness World Record holders for the Highest Altitude Game of Football on a Parabolic Flight.
Although a Guinness World Record isn't as impressive as being a Balon D'or winner, Figo still joins an elite list of football figures with World Records.
PSG's Lionel Messi, Barcelona's Robert Lewandowski and Man United's Cristiano Ronaldo all possess Guinness World Records.
