The story
Radebe is set to take part in the upcoming CEO Cycle Challenge, bringing along a star-studded lineup of South African football legends to support the cause.
The legend is being challenged by fellow SA Hall of Famer, former Springbok captain, John Smit and his crew of Mzansi's rugby legends.
The event, which runs from 1 to 5 September at Nashua's HQ in Woodmead, Johannesburg, is a charitable initiative that brings together business leaders and public figures to raise funds for the South African Hall of Fame Legacy Project.
Radebe has confirmed that former Orlando Pirates captain Happy Jele, ex-Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Brian Baloyi, ex-Bafana Bafana midfielder Naughty Mokoena, and Banyana Banyana icon Portia Modise will join him for the multi-day challenge.
Another ex-Buccaneer, Innocent Chikoya, will also be featured in Rhoo's team, alongside the Leeds legend’s son, TikTok creator, actor, and comedian, Primo 9teen Baloyi.
The CEO Cycle Challenge, presented by Nashua and the South African Hall of Fame, aims to transform the lives of talented but underprivileged children by providing full bursaries that include high-quality education, sports gear and coaching, as well as mentorship and life skills training. Teams of four must contribute R50,000 to enter, with all proceeds going toward the Legacy Project.
Through their participation, Radebe and his team of football icons aim to inspire corporate South Africa to engage in meaningful social change, while promoting health, unity, and purpose through sport.
