Check it out!

What's the story?

Kaizer Chiefs headed to the DP World Wanderers Cricket Stadium to catch some SA20 action and get some inspiration ahead of the DStv Premiership restart.

Amakhosi have been hard at work in training during this mid-season break and a few players from the squad who attended the cricket will surely take a lot of learnings from the experience.

Let's take a closer look...

Kaizer Chiefs learn from another sporting code

The Jo'burg Super Kings hosted the Kaizer Chiefs family at the Bullring on Wednesday evening for their last home match of their SA20 season 2 campaign.

Keagan Dolly, Bruce Bvuma, Brandon Petersen and Reeve Frosler were wearing a different kind of yellow as they cheered on the Super Kings, who lost the Sunrisers Eastern Cape.

There's always plenty of things an athlete can learn from a different sport to theirs and the atmosphere at the stadium, spirit of the crowd and the energy of the teams on show will likely give the Chiefs players some sort of inspiration.

Dolly took part in a ball juggling competition with a Jo'burg Super Kings player Sam Cook, with the English bowler surprisingly keeping the ball up almost as well as the Chiefs star:

Amakhosi will restart their DStv Premiership campaign at the Peter Mokaba Stadium as they take on TS Galaxy, who are three places below them on the log in ninth position.
