The story

Players Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs headed to Diepkloof, Soweto, to pay a visit to the children at the CHOC House and the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital paediatric oncology department, for their 67 Minutes on Mandela Day.

CHOC (Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa), offers 13 "home-away-from-home" accommodation to help out-of-town families, caregivers and patients with a place to stay closer to treatment centres accross the country during lengthy cancer treatment phases.

The Buccaneers were represented by players; Thabiso Lebitso and Thapelo Xoki, Zakhele Lepasa, Paseka Mako, and Bandile Shandu, with Dillon Solomons, Tebogo Potsane and George Matlou among the stars coming through to represent the Glamour Boys on the day.

The aforementioned Chiefs and Pirates players were accompanied by staff members of their respective clubs and the main jersey sponsor for the Soweto Giants, Vodacom.

Vodacom-packaged hampers were handed out to the patience from the paediatric oncology ward, with other essentials donated to the people staying at the CHOC House.
