The story
Nasreddine Nabi and a number of new players started their Kaizer Chiefs career on a positive note after Saturday's come from behind win over 10-man Marumo Gallants, in their Betway Premiership opener at the jam packed Toyota Stadium.
Rwandan international, Fiacre Ntwari made his debut in goal, while Rushwin Dortley and Inacio Miguel featured in at the centre of Amakhosi's defence.
The standout debutants were Man of the Match, Bradley Cross at left-back and midfielder Gaston Sirino, who played a part in both Mduduzi Shabalala and Mfundo Vilakazi's goals.
It was a successful outing for the new Glamour Boys, with the four of them taking to Instagram to commemorate a winning start.
"Just the start! Focused on the next challenge, but grateful for an unforgettable debut! Thank you to all the fans for the support!" wrote Cross after a dream first league match for the Soweto giants.
"Happy for the debut and the team's winning spirit but more happy to contribute for the happiness of Khosi Nation! Long way to go but together we'll be stronger for sure!" posted Angolan international, Miguel.
