The story

Kaizer Chiefs has collaborated with Toyota South Africa Motors to launch their first Heart on Sleeve initiative of the year. This campaign, which kicked off on Mandela Day in 2023, continued this year at the Kliptown Youth Program in Soweto.

According to a statement released by Chiefs on Wednesday, this partnership between Toyota and Amakhosi resulted in the delivery of sports gear, early childhood learning equipment, cooking pots, and first aid kits.

These contributions aim to enhance the well-being of the youth in Kliptown, with Kaizer Chiefs' Marketing & Commercial Director, Jessica Motaung, elaborating why the Youth Program reflects the club’s values.

"Heart on Sleeve is more than a campaign — it's a commitment. Together with Toyota South Africa, we're using the power of our badge to uplift communities, starting with the incredible work being done at the Kliptown Youth Program. This initiative reflects what Kaizer Chiefs stands for: heart, heritage, and hope," read Jessica's quote, shared on the aforementioned statement.

Tebogo Potsane, Samkelo Zwane and Happy Mashiane represented the players at the Heart on Sleeve event, and were on hand to serve food, inspire the youngsters and give away various goods.
