The story
Nasreddine Nabi and his charges weren't able to clinch the Toyota Cup against Asante Kotoko of Ghana at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
The two teams played out to a goalless draw in 90 minutes, and the match was settled over penalties with Kotoko winning 3-2 after newly appointed captain Miguel Inacio's last kick for the 'Glamour Boys' was saved.
A lucky fan, Vuyo Vatsha, walked away with a brand new Toyota Starlet after making the lucky pick in the draw bowl.
The Toyota Starlet's brand new 2025 model is valued at R340,000 as per Toyota.co.za and in a similar price region depending on the kilometres at other dealerships.
Jessica Motaung handed over the keys to the brand new vehicle to Vatsha and Kaizer Chiefs' social media pages in turn made the official announcement:
"Congrats to the proud winner of the Toyota Starlet, Vuyo Vatsha, driving back from the Toyota Cup ‘25 in style."
