The story
Bafana Bafana midfield talent, Jayden Adams was floating in the middle of the park for Stellenbosch FC in Saturday's MTN8 final at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
The Cape Winelands club took the lead in spectacular fashion through Lehlohonolo Mojela, but failed to wrestle the MTN8 title away from the Buccaneers who outlasted them, 3-1.
Adams was showered with praise by Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates fans for his efforts in a gutting loss for Stellies.
The 23-year-old, who is subject of unrelenting transfer speculation after being linked with a move to Sundowns, proved why Stellies value him so highly on the market and why he's maintained a place in Hugo Broos' Bafana squads.
