The restart of the 2019/20 PSL campaign has been one of the most talked about issues in local football in recent weeks, with SAFA and league officials working behind the scenes to make the resumption happen.
Earlier this week, SAFA outlined protocol plans for the restart, with referees' health and fitness being one of the points discussed.
July 18 was said to be the restart date proposed by the league, but SAFA seemingly feel that referees need more time to undergo COVID-19 testing and to be fit for the remaining set of fixtures.
