The story

Matsatsantsa head coach, Gavin Hunt briefly bantered about referee Abongile Tom in his side's 2-0 loss to the Buccaneers at Orlando Stadium. 

SuperSport United suffered their third successive defeat across all competitions, finding themselves in 13th position on the Premiership log.

In a pre-match interview with SuperSport TV's Thomas Mlambo, the veteran was asked about the passionate nature of his team's matches against the Soweto giants.

Hunt received a red card from referee Abongile Tom when the Spartans faced this season's MTN8 winners in the quarter-finals of the competition in August.

Abongile Tom is came under fire for his performance in the MTN8 final between Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch FC, where he allowed Relebohile Mofokeng to take a freekick well ahead of where the foul took place.
