The story

Pyramids FC star Fiston Mayele proved to be the star of the show during and after the match, after helping his side claim its first-ever CAF Champions League trophy.

The Egyptian outfit beat Mamelodi Sundowns with a 3-2 aggregate score in the final, becoming the fourth Egyptian club to win this prestigious trophy, following in the footsteps of giants Al Ahly, Zamalek, and Ismaily.

Additionally, the Congolese striker earned the tournament's Golden Boot by scoring an impressive nine goals in 13 matches.

After a memorable campaign capped off with a goal in the second leg of the final, it came as no surprise to see Mayele leading the trophy celebrations.

One of the standout videos from Pyramids' celebratory scenes came from Mayele, who showed off some Congolese-inspired dance moves, having proudly represented the Democratic Republic of Congo on a major continental stage.
