The story
Bafana Bafana winger Elias Mokwana touched down in Tunis as he completes his move to Esperance Sportive de Tunis this week.
The 24-year-old, who reportedly attracted interest from multiple clubs in the PSL, is said to have committed to a three-year contract with the four-time African champions.
Mokwana enjoyed a breakthrough 2023/24 campaign with Sekhukhune United, featuring in 35 matches and managing nine goal contributions in all competitions.
Mokwana's impressive performances in the league saw him earn a call-up to Hugo Broos' Bafana Bafana squad this year, already amassing four caps and scoring on debut against Andorra.
The baller produced a host of brilliant moments for Babina Noko last season, which comes as no surprise considering he quickly became one of the most sought after wingers in the PSL.
