The story
Kaizer Chiefs supporters expressed their unbridled excitement on social media after the club announced the signing of Luke Baartman.
Amakhosi secured the services of Baartman on a free transfer after the Amajimbos star had been declared a free agent by the PSL's Dispute Resolution Chamber, as a result of the club's attempt to sign him for free, having been contested by Cape Town Spurs.
Baartman joins Asanele Velebayi in switching from the Urban Warriors to the Glamour Boys, with the 19-year-old's transfer to Chiefs drawing plenty of fanfare on Twitter/X.
The youngster and Amakhosi's latest recruits, Velebayi and Ighodaro, were presented to the fans at the FNB Stadium on Tuesday night during Chiefs' 1-0 win over Richards Bay in the Betway Premiership.
