What's the story?
The off-season provides many players with a chance to rest and recharge their batteries ahead of the new campaign. Some clubs have already begun pre-season preparations, while a number of free agents have taken it upon themselves to keep fit.
This could well be the case for Thuso Phala, with the 34-year-old set to make an important decision regarding his career.
Free Agent
Phala left Black Leopards at the end of last season and has since been a free agent. Rumours about the speedy winger retiring made their rounds among supporters however, he has since clarified that it was not the case.
That being said, Phala has for years been one of the most liked footballers in the PSL and often kept fans entertained with his famous dancing routine after scoring goals or victories.

Nonetheless, Phala was recently spotted going about boxing training in some of his latest Instagram stories posts. The former SuperSport United was seen doing skipping rope exercises, mit work wth gloves and abdominal drills.
Many footballers around the world engage in boxing training to keep fit, with the sport being one of the most physically taxing for its strength and cardiovascular demands on the body.
