The story
Former Mamelodi Sundowns star Cassius Mailula is hitting the reset button at a stunning getaway.
Following the end of his fruitfall loan spell at Wydad Casablanca, the Toronto FC forward seems to be holidaying in the Maldives, after recently departing the Moroccan Botola Pro outfit following their elimination from the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup (CWC)
Mailula had joined Wydad at the beginning of the 2024/25 season under the guidance of Rulani Mokwena, having struggled for game time in his first season with Toronto in the MLS.
During his one-season stay at Wydad, he netted six goals and registered seven assists in all competitions, including a solitary strike at the CWC against Al-Ain.
The baller took to his IG page to share clips of himself on a jet-ski, putting in some work on the treadmill.
The 24-year-old is currently on a break despite Toronto's ongoing MLS campaign, with his future reportedly unclear after his agent made it clear on Metro FM's Sports Night Amplified that Mailula is exploring his options.
As "Cash & Carry" ponders his future on the picturesque Maldives island, the stocky forward will likely continue to share his vacation bliss with his 186k IG followers.
