The story
The first chapter of the CAF Champions League final opened with a pulsating performance from Amapiano hitmakers and collaborators, Young Stunna and DJ Maphorisa.
Sandile Msimango, popularly known by his stage name Young Stunna, hit the stage with producer DJ Maphorisa to perform hits such as "Biri Marung" to get the supporters geared up for the encounter.
The duo's performance also served as a promotion for Maphorisa and Kabza De Small's "Scorpion Kings Live with Friends, a live music festival" event.
The concert, set to take place at Loftus on 29 August, is set to showcase the best of the popular genre, with the aforementioned pioneers set to fill the stage with a range of stars they've worked with over the years.
"My performance was breathtaking because I don't usually perform at a stadium during big matches like this; it was a blessing to me, I wish I could do it more," shared Stunna.
"We are taking it home. The boys must stay prayed up, stay prepared, and make sure they defeat everything against them and make sure they come back with everything we deserve," added the eccentric muso, who supports the Brazilians.

Mamelodi Sundowns conceded a last-gasp equaliser to be held 1-1 by Pyramids FC in the first leg of the CAF Champions League final at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Brazilians opened the scoring with the in-form Lucas Ribeiro putting them ahead early in the second half, with Walid El Karti equalising deep in injury time for the Egyptian outfit. Going into the second leg in Cairo this weekend, Pyramids hold the upper hand on home soil as they go into the fixture with an away goal, with Downs having it all to do if they want to secure their second star.
