The story
Three-time CAF Champions League winner, Percy Tau, was on hand to back Masandawana in their first leg final clash with Pyramids at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Saturday.
"The Lion of Judah" took to Instagram story to share a series of posts of himself joined by friends at the jam-packed stadium.
Tau, who claimed his first Champions League title in the 2015/16 season under Pitso Mosimane at Downs, also linked up with one of his former teammates at the Brazilians, Thabo Nthethe.
Take a look:
Unfortunately for Tau's Sundowns, Miguel Cardoso’s troops were held to a 1-1 draw by Pyramids FC after conceding a dramatic late equaliser in the first leg of the final at Loftus.
The Brazilians looked set for a crucial victory when Lucas Ribeiro opened the scoring early in the second half, but Walid El Karti netted in stoppage time to secure a valuable away goal for the Egyptian side, giving them a slight advantage ahead of next weekend's return leg on home turf.
