Chiefs v Sundowns

Kaizer Chiefs 0-2 Mamelodi Sundowns

Mamelodi Sundowns claimed their second successive MDC win, after they defeated Kaizer Chiefs 2-0 at the Kanyamazane Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Chiefs signing, Bongani Ndulula, featured for the reserved side once again, while Percy Tau and Mabunda Tiyani turned out for the Brazilians. 

However, it was Sundowns who secured the spoils on the day thanks goals either side of the break from Ntandoyenkosi Ndubane and Khayelihle Shozi respectively. 

Platinum Stars 2-0 Mpumalanga Black Aces

Platinum Stars picked up their first win of the MDC campaign, after recording a 2-0 victory over Mpumalanga Black Aces on Sunday morning.

Sphiwe Mnguni handed Dikwena the lead after 20 minutes, as he volleyed home from close range. While the three points were secured late in the second half via a close range finish from Pontsho Basiame.
