“We’re proud to announce the signing of Goodman ‘River-River’ Mosele on a season-long loan from Orlando Pirates FC,” the club said in a statement.
Mosele returns to familiar territory, having been born in Qhaga, near King William’s Town in the Eastern Cape. The midfielder, who joined Pirates from Baroka FC in 2021, says he is motivated to represent his home province and contribute meaningfully to Chippa’s ambitions.
Known for his tireless work rate, defensive awareness, and ability to dictate the tempo in midfield, Mosele will be hoping to get regular minutes under head coach Sinethemba Badela, especially after a season of limited opportunities at Pirates.

His arrival also brings much-needed depth and experience to the Chilli Boys, who are keen to move away from their reputation as perennial relegation battlers.
Meanwhile, Chippa have also announced signing former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Sammy Seabi on a permanent deal, as well as goalkeeper Elson Sithole, among their latest additions to the squad.
Furthermore, Chippa have added that they have signed Malian midfielder Abdoulaye S. Mariko on a season-long loan deal from Pirates.
