Orlando Pirates have confirmed that the team will depart for Mali on Wednesday, 13 May, as correctly predicted by the Siya crew.
Bucs yet to confirm CAF Departure Details
The Soweto giants leave for Mali ahead of the CAF Confederation Cup first leg play-off round against Guinea side, AS Kaloum, at the Stade Modibo Keita on Friday, May 15.
The Buccaneers will leave on Wednesday at 17h50 and are due to arrive in Mali on Thursday at 09h00. They will then return back to South Africa on Sunday, 17 May, and are scheduled to land in Johannesburg at 16h55 in the afternoon.
"We look forward to this trip and the mood among the players is unbelievable. We are flying the South African flag high and we want to do well for the people of this country," expressed Bucs Public Relations Officer Mickey Modisane.
Pirates further tweeted on their official twitter account that broadcast times are yet to be announced.
The match is scheduled to commence at 17h00 local time and 19h00 South African time.
