Brighton Mhlongo Full Of Praise For Pirates Teammates

Orlando Pirates shot-stopper Brighton Mhlongo has heaped praise on his teammates in the belief they have shown during the course of their CAF Confederation Cup expedition. Bucs Top CAF Group In Style The Buccaneers came away from Dolisie with maximum points following their gutsy 1-0 victory over AC Leopards in the first leg of their Group B opening fixture. Mhlongo played a pivotal role in keeping a clean sheet, pulling off two great saves to keep Bucs in the game during that encounter. The Soweto-born goalkeeper told the Siya crew that the result favoured them because they believed in themselves. He said that as players they will continue with their fighting spirit and belief in themselves. "We believe in ourselves. We are playing all over Africa in different conditions but we have been doing very well because we believe in ourselves. We believe in each other and no matter who plays we have the ability to play as a team and win," Mhlongo concluded.
If selected, Mhlongo will have another daunting task of keeping Egyptian giants Zamalek at bay when the two sides clash on Saturday, July 11 at Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit.
