The Buccaneers next welcome Egyptian side Zamalek, who also sit top of the group on three points, to Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit on July 11.
Pirates find themselves in a comfortable position after a gutsy 1-0 away win over Congolese side, AC Leopards. They sit on three points along with Zamalek who beat CS Sfaxien 1-0 in their tie..
"Orlando Pirates are doing well at that level. They seem to have strong brains when playing away. They're not intimidated when playing away; that's what makes champions," Lushozi told Soccer Laduma.
Lushozi is very optimistic about the Buccaneers chances, "They will get far in this competition. They will make it to the final. Considering that they have reached the final of the 2013 CAF Champions League and lost to Al Ahly, they should win this one (the CAF Confederation Cup). This one doesn't look as tough as the CAF Champions League. The CAF Confederation Cup is the only cup missing from Orlando Pirates' trophy cabinet."
'Shooz' also warned Pirates about not letting complacency set in, "They're in control. It is only them that can disappoint themselves. It doesn't look like the opposition can disappoint Pirates, " Lushozi concluded.
