The Mother City outfit qualified for next year's Confederation Cup, after they reached the finals of the Nedbank Cup this season.
In their preparation for the continental competition, Roger de Sa and his technical team at the Urban Warriors want to complement their young team with experienced players for crucial positions.
As earlier reported by the Siya crew, Ajax are expected to sign Nyadombo as part of the plans to bolster the side.
De Sa has made the players, management and everyone in the team aware of the requirements for a successful campaign in Africa.
"We've spoken about it with the players and we are looking forward to it. We've spoken to the management as well. We are going to have a slightly different squad.
"We need players to play in Africa. We need a couple of stronger guys, because it's not like we are going to the PSL. It's quite different. It's a nice challenge.
"It will be a fantastic opportunity for these young boys to take another step up. It's probably the closest you get to play for your national team, when you play in the Champions League or in the African cup (Confederation Cup).
"So it will be a good opportunity for them and they will learn from that. The nice thing about having a young team is that you never really lose. You either win or you learn," said De Sa.
