The talented Zambian, who had been a transfer target of Orlando Pirates for his impressive form, scored one of the goals that helped Chipolopolo in their 2-0 win over Rwanda last weekend.
Kalaba was nominated in the category of African Player of the Year (based in Africa), among some of the best players on the continent, following his impressive performances during the Champions League run of 2013.
Kalaba and his teammates at Mazembe are reportedly working hard in their preparation for the game against the defending PSL champions. Mazembe are facing an uphill battle, as they have to beat Sundowns by 2-0 at least, if they have to advance to the next round of the competition.
The Brazilians won 1-0 win in Tshwane when the two sides played in the first leg game.
