Pitso Mosimane and the side want to leave no stones unturned before the start of the competition.
Sundowns are scheduled to play against St Michel from the Seychelles, during the initial stages of this year's Champions League. Mosimane's side is expected to visit Michel on the weekend of February 14 for a game that is scheduled for the Stade Linite.
The Brazilians sent the club's director of football, Mike Ntombela, to inspect the conditions in Seychelles before the team's first game of the prestigious competition next month.
"Before a game of this magnitude, we have to make sure as a club that everything is in order. I went there to check on transportation, accommodation, facilities and most importantly the ground that we will be playing our game on," Ntombela told the club's official website.
In the meantime, Sundowns continue with their preparations for the second round of the season with a planned trip to Durban on Thursday.
The KwaZulu-Natal tour will be followed by a trip to the Free State for a friendly game against Bloemfontein Celtic on Sunday.
