Mamelodi Sundowns head coach, Pitso Mosimane, believes that his side can reach the final of this year's FIFA Club World Cup in Japan. Read: Mbalula Hands Sundowns More Money Hundreds of fans chanted Mosimane's name at OR Tambo airport this morning as the Brazilians arrived back in South Africa following their CAF Champions League triumph, a victory that has secured them a spot in December's CWC. Sundowns beat Egyptian giants, Zamalek, 3-1 over two legs in this year's Champions League final and will now travel to Japan for South Africa's first ever CWC game on December 11th. 'Downs will face either Auckland City or the winner of the Japanese J-League in their first game, and need just two wins in order to reach the final of the competition. Speaking at OR Tambo today, Mosimane said, "We'll give our best in the Super Cup, we're waiting for the winner of Mazembe and the team from Algeria (MO Béjaïa). The Super Cup will be here in South Africa, and we are now on a continental and international programme. We're going to Japan. "Someone said 'Do not be surprised to see Sundowns in the cup final'. You know me and my attitude, I believe we'll be there." The CAF Super Cup is due to be played at some point in February prior to the start of the 2017 CAF interclub competitions.
