Mamelodi Sundowns' Hlompho Kekana has described the emotions in the dressing room with the club's chairman Patrice Motsepe, Fikile Mbalula and Shakes Mashaba all congratulating the team on their CAF Champions League victory.
In an exclusive interview with Soccer Laduma, the 31-year-old shared some of Sundowns' CAF experiences, which will be talked about for years to come, as Sundowns look to continue making history, both on the continent, and globally.
"They (Motsepe, Mashaba and Mbalula) all addressed us and thanked us for the wonderful job. It was great to have them around and you could see just how proud and happy they were. Emotions were so high in that change room… words can't describe the feeling," Kekana shared

"You know when you see your parents supporting you, that's how it felt to have them behind us, especially since we were in a foreign country. We were clearly not alone and their presence and support meant a lot because you need familiar faces in a situation like that. Even the supporters who made the trip were unbelievable and made a huge difference," the Sundowns captain told the Siya crew.
