Sports minister Fikile Mbalula has told Mamelodi Sundowns' players to spend their CAF Champions League prize money wisely.
Mbalula Hands Sundowns Stars' More Money To Share
Sundowns were awarded with R20 million for their continental success, and Mbalula has commended owner Patrice Motsepe for allowing the players to split the prize money among themselves.
"It's good that Mr Motsepe has made it clear that the players will share part of the prize money from the CAF Champions League," Mbalula told journalists.
"All I want to say is use the money wisely. You can buy yourself a Lamborghini but be wise in how you spoil yourself. Use the money wisely."
