Bernard Parker Says All Teams Come Prepared Against Kaizer Chiefs

Parker

Kaizer Chiefs had to wait until the dying minutes before they could best Botswana Township Rollers 2-1 in the CAF Champions league first leg  first round encounter at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.    Read: Mashamaite Secures Narrow Win For Chiefs   Striker Bernard Parker told the Siya crew that they knew that it won't be easy playing their opponents.   He said most of the teams watch Amakhosi on TV and they know them compared to the way Chiefs know their opponents.   "We knew it wouldn't be easy.  Almost all the teams in Africa know us and they come prepared when they come to play against us," Parker said.   "You always have to dig deep and  remain focused until the end and that helped us find the win when everyone thought the game was over.   "We even know it won't be easy in the return match and we have to be mentally strong to win there and proceed to the next round."   Read: Baxter: The Boys Stuck At It
