Banyana Banyana head coach, Vera Pauw, says that Kaizer Chiefs' Naturena village is what 'any player and coach needs' in order to succeed.
The Dutch coach, who visited Naturena after returning from Banyana's valiant efforts to qualify for the World Cup in the 2014 African Women's Championship, was impressed with the setup at the club, saying that it is geared towards the top.
Pauw's Banyana were within on game of qualifying for Canada 2015, however it wasn't to be as they were beaten 1-0 by Cote d'Ivoire in the third place playoff.
Now, having returned to South Africa from Namibia ahead of talks regarding her future, Pauw went to visit the Amakhosi's training grounds to see what they were like.
Speaking to Chiefs' official website during her visit, Pauw said, "This is what any player and coach needs. Everything here is about achieving maximum results in sport, it's functional and geared towards the top."
SAFA have hinted that they'd like to offer Pauw a new contract with Banyana after her current deal ended last week, however there have been no official talks as of yet.
