SAFA President, Dr. Danny Jordaan, has hailed Banyana Banyana's qualification for the 2016 Olympics as an historic day in women's football.

Banyana secured their ticket to the Olympic Games in Rio next year, after recording a 1-0 win over Equatorial Guinea and the SAFA President has lauded Vera Pauw and her charges for the occasion.
