Ellis named a preliminary squad earlier this month, but has now trimmed the squad to 23 players.

The South African tactician is well aware of the threat posed by the Serbians.

"Serbia beat Russia recently and Russia beat them as well. They are very physical and technically they are very good," Ellis told safa.net.
