Players from Banyana Banyana and Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies were nominated for a few CAF awards.
The African football governing body have announced the nominees for the various awards for women's football on Tuesday afternoon.

Banyana have been recogised for their achievements over the past year after being nominated for the Women's National Team of the Year.
The South Africans won the Women's Africa Cup of Nations for the first time in their history last year before they made more history by reaching the quarter-final stage at this year's FIFA Women's World Cup.

Banyana head coach Desire Ellis has nominated for Women's Coach of the Year along with Sundowns Ladies coach Jerry Tshabalala.
Jermaine Seoposenwe, Hilda Magaia, Andile Dlamini, Thembi Kgatlana, Linda Motlhalo and Refiloe Jane were all nominated for the CAF Women's Player of the Year.
Banyana starlet Thubelihle Shamase Banyana star Lebohang Ramalepe have been nominated for Young Women's Player of the Year and the CAF Interclub Women's Player of the Year respectively.
Meanwhile, national team goalkeepers Kaylin Swart and Andile Dlamini have both been shortlisted for Goalkeeper of the Year award.
