A make-shift Banyana Banyana side suffered a humiliating 5-0 defeat to Botswana after the World Cup-bound players refused to play.
Banyana were scheduled to play Botswana at 15h00 at Tsakane Stadium, but the World Cup-bound players refused to go in protest of the playing conditions at the Tsakane Stadium.
As a result, the start of the match was delayed by an hour as SAFA tried to get a team together, although they were only able to get enough for a starting line-up and three substitutes.

Botswana did not care who they came up against as they opened the scoring through Lesego Radiakanyo, who made no mistake from close range.
The floodgates opened thereafter as Ontlametse Goanyadiwe bagged a quick-fire brace to make it 3-0, before Refilwe Tholakele added the fourth goal with 15 minutes left in the first half.
At halftime, the were images of actual Banyana players showing up to the Tsakane Stadium, before they were seen seated for the second half while SAFA president Danny Jordan was also in attendance.
The visitors took their foot of the pedal in the second stanza, but they managed to grab a fifth goal in the 78th minute with Tholakele getting her second goal with a composed finish that sailed into the far corner.
Sunday's incidents will certainly not bode well for the South African national side, who depart for the World Cup later this week.
