Banyana Banyana will be going all out to get the three points in the make-or-break match of the African Women championship against Algeria, as the two teams vie for a place in the semi-finals.
The South African team started the campaign on a bad note, losing 0-1 to Cameroon and then played to a 1-1 draw against Ghana, in their second match of the group stage.
Today's match is a must win for Vera Pauw's charges at the Independence Stadium, and they have to beat Algeria to stand any chance of reaching the knockout stage of the competition.
Algeria on the other hand has already registered a win in the opening match, where they beat Ghana 1-0 and will prove to be a tough opponent as they also eye a place in the knockout stages.
Pauw will be hoping that Portia Modise and the rest of the team will rediscover their goal-scoring form to keep their hopes of challenging for the women's competition title alive.
