Banyana Banyana were held to a 0-0 draw by Equatorial Guinea in their first leg of their 2016 Olympic Qualifier on Saturday afternoon.
Roxanne Barker came to Banyana's rescue in eighth minute, as she got down low to pull off save to deny the visitors the opener.
Banyana went on the attack a minute later when Sanah Mollo found some space 20-yards out but her effort sailed over the crossbar.
The visitors looked stronger in the opening exchanges and they squandered a big chance in the 22nd minute when Chinasa Okoro headed wide of the upright from six-yards out.
Vera Pauw's side had the chance to break the deadlock in the 34th minute but Noko managed to steer her header off target from point-blank range.
Banyana nearly went into the break with a lead when Mollo played Refilwe Jane through on goal, however the striker's effort crashed against the post with the goalkeeper flat-footed.
Substitute Leandra Smeda made her way onto the field for the second half but it was Jane who went close with good effort from close range that sailed just wide.
Banyana did have chances to secure the win in the final stages but Seoposenwe was guilty of missing two glorious chances.
The second leg will take place next week, with the winner of the tie securing a ticket to the 2016 Olympics in Brazil.
