Bafana Bafana head coach, Molefi Ntseki confirmed plans for the national team to return to action in a few weeks time.
While the football fraternity has been enjoying domestic football back in action, the South African Football Association have acted quickly to ensure that Bafana also returns to the field of play soon with the Africa Cup Of Nations qualifiers still to be concluded.
The 2021 AFCON qualifiers will resume in November this year and in preparation for the two crucial clashes against Sao Tome, Ntseki confirmed that they are in the process of organising two international friendly encounters between October 5-13.
"I am trying to arrange two friendly matches in October to prepare for the two Sao Tome matches in November," he said.
After the back-to-back qualifying clashes against Sao Tome, the national team will thereafter only play their two remaining clashes against Ghana and Sudan in March 2021.
In other news, SAFA also gave an important update on Banyana Banyana.
"Meanwhile, a SAFA Technical Committee meeting has been scheduled for all national team coaches including those for Banyana Banyana, u23, u20 and u17 with the new Technical Director to present their plans in preparations for the resumption of international matches."
"Part of the international matches include the COSAFA tournament for Banyana Banyana in Port Elizabeth from 19-31 October, u20 Men's national team in Mauritius in December and u17 women's national team also in PE," the association said on their official website.
