However, it has now been confirmed by Baxter at a media briefing held this morning, that Mokwena will no longer be joining him and the team to Zambia. As confirmed by the Bafana coach, there was communication breakdown, as Pirates were not properly informed of Mokwena's call-up before the announcement was made.

Bafana will jet off to Zambia to participate in a four-nation tournament scheduled to start on the March 22.

Meanwhile, Mokwena and Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic at Pirates will be focused on preparing the team for their next match, which will be against Bloemfontein Celtic on April 04.
