Bafana Bafana have confirmed a squad change ahead of their upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria and Zimbabwe.

On Monday, the official X page for South Africa's men's team confirmed that Kaizer Chiefs defender Given Msimango has replaced the injured Grant Kekana in Hugo Broos' latest selection.

The centre-back, who is uncapped for South Africa, made 30 appearances across all competitions this season for Chiefs.
Broos' side will take on Nigeria away from home in a Group C qualifier this coming Friday before hosting Zimbabwe on 11 June.

Msimango has been a Chiefs player since July 2023, after previously enjoying spells at Highlands Park and TS Galaxy.
