Bafana are scheduled to play against Mauritania in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers next month and Mashaba announced his squad for the game in a press conference at SAFA house in Johannesburg earlier today.
Mobara and Mekoa are some of the players from the South African U23 national team that played in the Olympics in Brazil, that have been added to the senior Bafana squad.
Their teammates Gift Motupa and Thapelo Morena, who has signed for Mamelodi Sundowns from Bloemfontein Celtic recently, have also been included in the Bafana squad.
The other new faces in the Bafana setup include SuperSport United defender Denwin Farmer, as well as Aubrey Modiba, also from the SA U23s Olympic team.
Ajax Cape Town's Prince Nxumalo has been called up again, after he was initially selected to represent his country at senior level last year, but later withdrawn from Mashaba's squad due to health issues.
