Former Bafana Bafana striker, Lebohang Kukame, told the Siya crew that he would have preferred Shakes Mashaba to start with Sibusiso Vilakazi up front in the game against Angola this afternoon.

Mashaba has selected Thamsanqa Gabuza and Tokelo Rantie as the two starting strikers for the important the 2018 World Cup qualifier against the Sable Antelopes in Benguela later today.
Vilakazi and the likes of the on-form Dino Ndlovu will be on the bench.
"We do have a chance against Angola. But as you know, it's not easy to prepare for a game away from home. We played there and won against them in CHAN even though we had a weaker team so to speak.
"But I think that win will help to boost the confidence of the players. It will make them believe that they can win the game. I don't know that much about how the guys have prepared at training and stuff like that. Shakes knows better. He has been working with them for some time.

"In my opinion, I don't think (Tokelo) Rantie has been having enough game time where he is playing (Bournemouth). Okay fine, (Thamsanqa) Gabuza has been playing and doing well. But in terms of goal scoring, I don't think he is in the right frame of mind to start this game. I think this game would have been an opportunity for us to allow (Sibusiso) Vilakazi to play. He has been doing well for (Bidvest) Wits," said Kukame.
