Bafana Bafana remain the talk on everyone's lips following their outstanding displays against the likes of Morocco and Namibia at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Having scored six times in four matches at Afcon so far, former South Africa striker Katlego Mashego believes Percy Tau should no longer be the nation's penalty taker.

Mashego wants Evidence Makgopa to take over penalty duties, after the Orlando Pirates player scored the crucial opening goal against the Atlas Lions on Tuesday. The criticism focuses on how Tau missed a penalty against Mali as Bafana could have gone ahead in their first group game, but after failing to convert, South Africa then went on to lose that match 2-0.
"(Evidence Makgopa) is our number 9 and the only thing or important thing he has to do is to score goals and I felt a little bit is not okay in the first game when we got a penalty and he didn't take it. We also got a penalty against Namibia and he didn't take it. I expect a number 9, a player you rely on for goals to take those penalties," Mashego said on GameOn on Radio 2000.
Tau came under intense pressure when he was given another penalty, this time against Namibia in the second group game, but that time he redeemed himself by converting and Bafana went on to win that game 4-0.
"I mean, you can't take anything away from Percy (Tau), he is our star player but as a number nine, I think we should give those responsibilities to a player of Evidence's calibre because he is doing a great job," Mashego said.
'Mahoota' has been impressed by Makgopa at Afcon and believes he was due a goal in the campaign.
"He holds the ball up nicely, runs the channels well, he is just a happy legs player, he runs all the time and I think he was due a goal in this tournament and I'm glad he got it in the most important game," he stated.
With the quarter-finals now coming up, Bafana face the tournament's giant-killers Cape Verde on Saturday.
